The AquaBears are a family oriented team that provides a fun environment to develop your competitive spirit or to just enjoy swimming with friends.

Monday - Thursday

Ages 8 and under - 3:45pm - 4:30pm

Ages 9 and 10 - 4:30pm -5:30pm

Ages 11 and up - 6:45pm -8:00pm

(Exceptions may be granted with prior approval from the team President and Manager)

The AquaBears are very excited to announce Greg Gimelli as our new Head Coach.

Coach Greg has served as one of the team's coaches for many years and is the current head swim team coach at Inderkum High School.  Coach Greg is an exceptional technical coach and believes in developing all aspects of his swimmers.  We are so pleased to welcome Coach Greg back to our Aquabear family and look forward to many wonderful seasons with him on the swim deck.

This is just a quick note to check in and let you know about the 2019 season!

We are ecstatic to welcome Coach Greg back on the deck as our Head Coach.
We are looking to calculate our team size for our next season, please take a moment and fill out our FORM. This is not a finalized yes for you, rather a starting point so we can gauge how many coaches we will have as well as a number of lanes for during practice, use this: https://goo.gl/forms/0vlnux710DUlz4yA3. We are getting started early with team activity. AquaBears have select to attend a RiverCats game on June 13th. Tickets can be purchased through this link. We currently locked in 20 seats with the flexibility to expand if your interest says yes to attend the game with the team. CLICK :The Rivercats logo to the right for your tickets.

Off season updates: we have been busy organizing and updating our team bylaws. As we finalize the documents we wanted to invite you to sign up and serve as a team board member. We are in need of the following positions:

Registrar and Secretary (support board with duties of a secretary as well as support registration organization), VP Operation (set up and breakdown for swim meets)Volunteer positions:    Volunteer Chair (in charge of tracking, signing up and following up with parents for all hours of service during the season)  Social Chair (in charge of social events and awards banquet). League Rep (represents our team at the Sacramento Swim League, SSL Meetings), Championship Rep (works with SSL team members to organize the championships at the end of July)

Spring clinic: it will be the 4 weeks of March, each week only offering 3 nights. The cost will be $35/swimmer/week.
Team practices begin April first with our first meet in late May/Early June. Cost of the season reflects the additional two weeks of training as well as aligns with other teams in our league.
 Single Swimmer Families: $250 for the season
 Two Swimmer Families: $240 each swimmer ($480)
 Three Swimmer Families: $230 each swimmer ($690)
 Four Swimmer Families: $220 each swimmer ($880)

Update to volunteer requirements: Based on the need to support our team, the board is working on a restructuring of how each family helps out and volunteers. We will have a formal write up in our new bylaws that will be provided to each member of the team upon its completion. In a nutshell please plan to participate/volunteer at each meet and for one shift on each day of championships.

For now... this is where we start dipping our toes in the season! Welcome 2019, let’s get this pool party started!
